It is with deep sadness that we inform our friends in the Buick community of the passing of James Frick, owner of Jay's GN Parts, devoted husband, father, and "Grandpap Jay". We too are stunned by this loss and wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the many loyal customers and dear friends that have helped Jay pursue his passion for these cars for over 25 years. The turbo motor really captured his attention when the SFI was released in 1985 while working in the dealership. So much so that he had to purchase one new. He was amazed that technology and a 6 cylinder engine could produce the power he remembered from racing tri-power Pontiacs years before, and it beat the Corvette! That racing passion inspired him to learn all he could about these cars and when the intercoolers came he was truly hooked. At this time, we will not be processing any new orders. Over the coming weeks, we will work diligently to fulfill any existing orders as quickly as we can. Thank you all for your understanding during this very difficult time, and again for your support and friendship of Big Jay.
